Ahead of UFC Edmonton, Derrick Lewis is rethinking the post-fight interview shenanigans – or so he says

.

Whether it was “My balls were hot,” “Where Ronda Rousey’s amazing ass was,” pulling down his pants and throwing his trophy into the crowd, or something else, Derrick Lewis gave UFC fans one incredibly memorable post-fight interview moments in over the years.

But before UFC Fight Night 246, don’t expect anything else from “The Black Beast” – at least that’s what he says. The reason? When he’s at his kids’ school, things get a little weird.

“This year I tried to spend a lot of time with my kids at school, and they’re in elementary school and stuff like that. And so I go to school and the kids ask me about my balls and stuff like that. “It’s just very awkward, man,” Lewis told reporters, including MMA Junkie, with a laugh at Wednesday’s media day. “I want to change everything. I don’t even take off my shorts anymore. I didn’t think about the other kids, the other kids’ families watching this, hearing me talk the way I talk, and myself.” I’m doing things that I’m doing right now, so I just try to to improve my behavior this weekend, very professional.

Yes, okay. We’ll believe it when we (don’t) see it!

Lewis returns to UFC Fight Night 246 on Saturday from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where he will look for his second straight win when he takes on Jhonata Diniz on the main card (ESPN+).
