Stokes said Wednesday that the Burglary occurred at his home in northeast England Eden Castle on October 17th.
Be Order of the British Empire (OBEAmong the items stolen was the medal “The Lord’s Medal,” awarded in the name of the nation.
“By far the worst thing about this crime is that it was committed while my wife and two young children were in the house. Fortunately, none of my family members were physically harmed,” he wrote on X. “Understandably, however, the experience had an impact on their emotional and mental state. We can only imagine how much worse this situation could have been.
The thieves stole jewelry and “other valuables and many personal items. Many of these items have real sentimental value to me and my family. They are irreplaceable.”
To help the police arrest the burglars, Stokes claimed he published the news. He shared pictures of some of the stolen goods.
“Although we have lost valuable possessions, my sole motivation in sharing these photos is not the recovery of material items. “It’s more about catching the people who did this,” he wrote.
